Life Support Training
For the beginner or advanced levels, we offer heart resuscitation training. We can also train at a level for medical professionals (nurses, physicians, etc.), ranging in complexity. This can be used as a quick refresher, or for someone starting from scratch. With curriculums developed over the years, we have a variety of training length and complexities to suit your needs. This can be used for newly hired medical professionals, or to renew previous licenses. Essential Heartsaver depends on the latest research for technique or method development, meaning you can rest assured knowing that nothing being taught is outdated. There’s no compromise when it comes to someone’s life, and we stand behind that; caring for life.
Cardiac Patient Advisory
For those with a history of cardiac arrest, we offer services to educate on all the necessary steps to maximizing the most out of your health. This is for diet and nutrition tips, lifestyle changes, and minimizing risk factors for the future. We go beyond the basics of “ask your doctor before exercise.” It starts with simple things like eliminating risk factors (e.g. smoking) but follows up to the details past that as well. It can take between two weeks to three months to fully recover from a heart attack, and we can guide you every step of the way. If you or a loved one have suffered from a heart attack recently or in the past, reach out to us today to start planning ahead towards your best life.
Did You Know?
For untrained bystanders, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada says that it may be preferable to do chest compressions only. If you see someone suffering from cardiac arrest, take initiative to help them quickly, their chances of survival more than double if a bystander performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to keep their heart beating. Your intervention can save their life!
